Tell us about your home city. Let's not go there. It inspired me to write horror, soooo, enough said. :D
What do you love about writing? Exploring the depths of human psychology, anchoring my readers thoughts to created actions and emotions, building expectation and completely throwing it out the window, having every word move the story forward even when it seems insignificant, having a vehicle in which I may travel to places that "good" people don't venture. And it's so much more than that, I love that every reader will take my creation and create their own version in their mind. Every reader designs their experience.
Usually a brand has a kind of personality about it, and you know what you're messing with when you associate with that brand. Up & Up is interesting, because it is brand new and doesn't really have an established personality yet. How do you feel about it? What do you make of all this?
I love it! I love change, I love exploration, I love possibility, I love opportunity. I feel Up & Up represents all of these things - it represents the space for expression where judgement is quickly slaughtered by potential.
Our motto at Up & Up is "The indie punk label of publishing for the garage bands of writing." What do you make of that? I make it mean this: A space for raw talent to rock forth!
What are your hobbies?
Writing (the income dictates that it's still a hobby for now, haha), science (because I'm a total nerd), craft (check out my Books in a Bottle at FIXION on Etsy), antique book dealer, playing 4 chords on my guitar, getting a Star Wars fix, and singing like everyone is deaf!
